We believe that strong connections lead to thriving communities. FACE, Inc. focuses on creating meaningful networks that bring people together to share their experiences, support one another, and build pathways toward positive change. We recognize that no individual, family, or community should have to face life's challenges alone.
FACE (Freedom Advocates Celebrating Ex-Offenders) is committed to empowering individuals to overcome barriers, discover their strengths, and move forward with purpose. Through peer support, mentoring, education, advocacy, community outreach, recovery services, and leadership development, FACE creates opportunities for people to connect with the resources, relationships, and support they need to succeed.
Our approach is rooted in connection, accountability, compassion, and empowerment. We bring together individuals with lived experience, community leaders, professionals, organizations, schools, justice-system partners, healthcare providers, and other community stakeholders to develop solutions that address real-life challenges.
FACE works to create supportive environments where individuals can:
FACE understands that lived experience is a powerful tool for change. Individuals who have overcome adversity can become some of the strongest advocates and mentors for others who are facing similar challenges. We create opportunities for people to transform their experiences into leadership, service, and positive community impact.
Through partnerships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, courts, Parole and Probation, government agencies, and other stakeholders, FACE helps create a network of support that extends beyond any single program or service.
One of our core beliefs is that today's participant can become tomorrow's leader. FACE encourages individuals to move from receiving support to providing support. Through mentoring and leadership development, participants are encouraged to share their experiences, guide others, and contribute to healthier and safer communities.
FACE is building a stronger future by expanding partnerships, developing innovative programs, increasing access to recovery and community resources, and creating more opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.
We don't simply ask people to face their challenges—we help them develop the tools, relationships, confidence, and support necessary to overcome them.
FACE stands for Freedom Advocates Celebrating Ex-Offenders, and our mission is simple: connect people, create opportunities, empower change, and strengthen communities. Together, we FACE challenges. Together, we build solutions. Together, we create a better future.
